Avril

Avril has many years experience performing at a professional level. In 2004 she became a finalist on BBC's TV show "Country Cool " which allowed her perform in Nashville's Fanfair stadiums and record in Curb Record Studios. She has performed live on T.V for many events including Northern Ireland's Odyssey Arena for "Children in Need" and Dublin's Point Theatre for The Irish Meteor Awards in 2000 sharing the stage with major artists such as " Girls Aloud, Simply Red, David grey, Elton John Etc. She has been lead singer for many very successful productions both nationally and internationally which allowed her to tour the world and perform in some of the finest auditoriums. Avril also works for R.T.E.'s Late Late Show as a backing vocalist and has supported many stars such as Rod Stewart, Shane Ward, Red Hurley Etc. Avril is delighted to be back from touring and settled in Sligo with DEJAGROOVE. "Becoming a member of a band in Sligo has always been my intention, I was just waiting for the right musicians. I feel lucky to have found them"
