Keith O�Donnell is currently studying a Research Masters in Classical Guitar Performance at Dundalk Institute of Technology. This Research Masters is performance based and mainly focuses on 20th century guitar composition. A native of Sligo, he began his classical guitar studies at the Royal Irish Academy of Music (RIAM) Dublin. In 2001 he received his Bachelor of Music Education Honours Degree from Trinity College Dublin. Keith is the recipient of numerous awards for his playing including the Senior Guitar Scholarship (RIAM), String Bursary (RIAM), Senior Solo Concerto Competition (RIAM) and the George Louden Cup at Siemens Feis Ceoil Dublin. He has attended and participated in master-classes with renowned classical guitarists such as John Williams, David Russell and Fabio Zanon. Keith has performed in various venues throughout the country including, The National Concert Hall, Bank of Ireland Arts Centre Dublin, St. Anne�s Church Dublin, the RIAM Dublin, St. Nicholas Church Galway, King House Boyle Roscommon, and The Model and Niland Art Gallery Sligo. Keith has been teaching Leaving and Junior certificate music in Sligo Grammar school since 2002. This provides him with the opportunity to rehearse and arrange music for the schools classical ensembles, and the many Rock and Pop groups within the school.
